Technology Integration 101 – Inform
INFORM is the lesson strategy in which information about the content is conveyed to the learner during a presentation, demonstration, or discussion–that is–those activities that are representative of the present and guide teaching methods. Informing implies a directive role taken by the teacher or information. The web and other technology resources are rich with elements, organized sites, and people that/who can be used to provide new content.
Examples of Technology Integration with using the lesson strategy INFORM
– Provide images, animations, or video clips to give examples of content
– use data or simulations from organized sites to organize lesson content
– video conference with an expert who will share examples and information about the lesson content.
