Technology Integration 101 – Try
TRY is the lesson strategy in which the learner practices or tests their newly acquired knowledge, skills, or inclinations as represented in the guide, active learning, problem-based, and role playing methods of teaching. Teachers must be more selective of the type of sites and resources that are selected to enable learners to try out new learning. Sites and resources in this case must be interactive in some way, either through interactive networked individuals or interactive sites. Learners need to take an active role with such resources.
Examples of Technology Integration using the lesson strategy TRY
– use metric conversion tools to check answers to questions.
– students use web resources to support their new knowledge
_ students can practice their new knowledge and network resources can proide feedback.
